unWINEd: A Toast for Hope for a Cure is an annual event that takes place each August and welcomes guests at Narcisi Winery to enjoy a night of wine, auctions, and raffles, raising critical funds and awareness for UPMC Children’s Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Each year, a patient at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh joins as a guest speaker so our guests can learn more about the life-changing care they are supporting. With the support of our guests, we have raised over $1.6 million since the event’s inception.

Every year, more than 1,000 kids with cancer come to UPMC Children’s for care — some travel from around the country while others come from right down the street. Regardless of where our patients are from, cutting-edge research is underway right here at UPMC Children’s to help these kids now and improve outcomes for kids into the future.

All proceeds raised from unWINEd benefit the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and the Division of Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapies at UPMC Children’s, supporting quality patient care and experience as well as research.
